I've been loving this stuff

If you're not such a milquetoste as to be frightened by the prospect of a cross between Bach and Afro-Cuban jazz, here's something you might want to listen to: me, I've been listening to the three tracks on offer all day long, and am planning to buy the CD next time I'm near a record store.

Me too!
I discovered a week or two ago that NPR will send you a daily e-mail about their music programs. Before that I'd obviously been checking their site from time to time, having discovered a few years ago it was True Fab, but far too often forgetting. Now . . . wahey!
I wish, though, they'd post some of their classical concerts in full. Most often they put online just the third movement of a symphony, or whatever. *sigh* Still, can't be long now before the Beeb's posting all of its Prom Concerts for 2009.

oh, and
Date: 2009-05-28 02:22 am (UTC)I remember when they posted the Punch Bros thing. Am I right in remembering that someone else had it up as a full stream?

I do recall that, but it wasn't what I was thinking of. Oh, well . . .
I sent the URL for the Tiempo Libre stuff off to The Spammers (e-mail chat group) last night, and also the one you gave me for Punch. One of the bunch e-mailed late last night to say he'd loved Tiempo Libre so much he'd promptly bought the CD online, then loved Punch Bros so much he'd bought it, too, online. He was asking me, for the sake of his bank balance, to stop sending musical recommendations . . .
It shows the value of streaming stuff online, doesn't it?
