A piece of analysis on the Beeb's website caught my eye this morning:
From Hillary Clinton's perspective, it is a pity that West Virginia is not the size of Texas or California since it contains huge proportions of the various demographic groups she has been winning by miles in previous contests.
The population is older than average, more than 95% white, and contains the lowest proportion of college graduates in the whole of the United States.
Y'know, if I were running for Prez and discovered my ideal demographic comprised the senile, the racist and the stupid -- which is what the Beeb statement is surely implying -- I'd be a bit . . . well, concerned.

That's not much of a statistical sample, is it? The "demographics" about which the Beeb's talking have been pretty clearly demonstrated over millions of people in 40+ states . . . and indeed most recently last night in W Virginia.
