"Chapitre Un" -- that's French.

LATER: By the way, there's still time to get a last-minute yuletide prezzie for the one you love -- http://www.amazon.com/Brotherhood-Disappearing-Pants-Conservative-Scandals/dp/156858377X.

I've personally always wanted Ayn Rand explained but only in this: is it "Ann" or "Ine" or "Ane" (to rhyme with "cane")?

I'd always thought it was "Ain", as in "pain", but according to Wikipedia it's "Ine", as in "whine".

Hm. Maybe I should have called it "Chapitre Ayn"?

I always thought it was `Ayun.' Never mind.

PS - when did Milla Jovovich become music?

"PS - when did Milla Jovovich become music?"

One album, astonishingly good -- rather like a cross between Kate Bush and Enya, but (to be honest) better than anything I've heard from either of them recently.

You can play it for free at http://free.napster.com/view/album/index.html?id=10519747 to see if you like it.

That is rather startling, isn't it? WHo'd have thought it? That's going on my Christmas list.
And in defence of the luscious Kate, I thought there was some stuff on Aerial her last album, which was kind of lovely.

Yes, there were some good bits on Aerial, but also -- I thought -- a fair amount of dross. Maybe I should dig it out and give it another try.

Glad to hear you've enjoyed the Jovovich. Allus pleased to find I been o' service, Major Bloodnok.

"I always thought it was `Ayun.'"

As in, "We've got a right wyun 'ere"?

Yep, Ayun Rand, Geordie writer and philosopher...

Using the terms "writer" and "philosopher" rather loosely . . .

As loosely as humanly possible.
