I've spent the past couple of days reading Liza Granville's forthcoming novel Until the Skies Fall (2009; February, I think). Since I did so because I'd been asked to produce a puff for the publisher to use in publicity, I think it'd be subtly wrong for me to say anything about the book here -- oh, except that it has a cover by the highly talented UK artist Vincent Chong, another example of whose work you can see by looking at the icon attached to this entry!

That's what I've told Vinny! He's been doing some wonderful work; I'm astonished US publishers haven't been beating a path to his door. I gather he's getting some cover work from the US, but not anything major.
