Thank you! I got up at 6 this morning to vote, and I got back home at 7:15. Long lines, yes (always good for Democrats, especially in Lakewood, OH), but I got my ballot in!
Pam's just been voting early likewise (I'm a Brit, so not allowed to). By the time she got there at about 7am, the early rush had cooled down a bit; according to the tellers, it had been very heavy earlier . . . as it still was, fairly, in the first half of the alphabet (she's in the second).
This is a pretty strongly GOP area, alas, but the heaviness of the voting so far may indicate Obama's picking up a healthy share even here.
