Scotland wins at the cricket? Why does this sound like the sun rising in the west. Or even like Zimbabwe winning at the cricket? (Now, presumably, there will be citations from the obscurer pages of Wisden, involving either Scotland defeating Zimbabwe or even Zimbabwe defeating Scotland.)
Scotland got to the final (the match played today) of the ICC minnows' ODI tournament (whatever its official title is), where they were not unexpectedly beaten by Ireland. Had they won, it'd have been nearly as much of an upset as today's defeat of England by Bangladesh.
Real tragedy occurs when West Indies loses.
That's what's known as an everyday tragedy, isn't it?
After you've seen my auntie, though, I'll admit that, well, um . . . The walk along the Esplanade's quite pretty, and there's the occasional J.M. Barrie-related bit and piece around the town. Otherwise, no wonder you were watching telly.
Well, little snatches of it. The great thing about going to rotwang's place at this time of year is he will definitely have the cricket on and will flick across to it at regular intervals during the afternoon. bibliogirl and bytepilot were very patient with us.

Oh yes there is! My auntie lives there.
