Thanks to ogre_san, I've just discovered there's a fundraising effort in progress for the excellent Catherynne M. Valente, who's been hit especially hard by the economic climate and is in dire straits. But we're sitting here with nobody having paid for work delivered and published or otherwise accepted for two months.

Which means we're behind too.

Similar dilemma. I've put up a book for auction. It seems vain and popinjay, somehow, but so far the biddings at $15 . . . which is better than nothing and also fuels my desperately insecure ego.
