I just voted, as Texas allows early voting starting on October 20. Watching the crowds, especially with people who have never bothered to vote in a previous Presidential election because they were always given the option of whom to vote against instead of whom to vote for, and I really have hope for next week. We've got a lot of folks who are finally standing up and saying "NO MORE," and I'm proud to have met some of them this afternoon. (Not that I'm going to stop fighting. Now, I want to redouble the efforts, because I've been disappointed before.)

I know exactly what you mean. What frightens me is the whole voter-suppression issue. That the crooks responsible aren't behind bars beggars belief.

It's for the same reason that Henry Kissinger hasn't been put into a cell and expected to wash inmate Underoos every day to pay his debt to society. The only way these vermin are going to jail is if their masters do so, and we haven't had enough power to put them into jail. Yet.
