Cheney checked for heart problem

US Vice President Dick Cheney has been found to have an irregular heartbeat and will get further evaluation shortly, his spokeswoman has said.

I was going to do that gag, too.

I ought to refer you to this, which will mean you don't have to clutter your posts up with URLs any more. You paste the URL of the site you're referring to between the quotation marks, and then type any comment you want to make between the bracket after the second set of quotes and the bracket-slash-a-bracket. It's a bit fiddly at first (I keep a copy of the page on my desktop so I can cut-and-paste the codes) but I find it tidies everything up. Incidentally, it took me about six months to work it out.

Thanks for the tip. I found that page the other day but promptly lost it again.

Basically, I decided I couldn't be bothered with that sorta stuff, tidiness or no tidiness. I later realized that polishing up my x-refs to other LJ users -- as opposed to URLs for other sites -- would be an improvement, and then couldn't rediscover the page.
