There was an episode of Outer Limits back in the 90s about extra-terrestrial aliens who had taken over the earth through political and corporate rule, and then went about altering the earth's atmosphere to suit them, while simultaneously making it uninhabitable for human beings.
I'm beginning to wonder if there is some truth to this . . .
