Over at the NYT political blog The Caucus, Jeff Zeleny and Bernie Becker have the latest:
R.N.C. Spends Thousands on Private Jets, Limos and Clubs, Report Shows
The Republican National Committee spent about $30,000 in February on private airplanes and limousines. But those charges were overshadowed by the $1,946.25 charge at Voyeur West Hollywood, which was described by The Los Angeles Times last year as a “high-end nightclub” with an interior “reminiscent of the masked orgy scene” from the movie “Eyes Wide Shut.”

They're so good and upright! *snicker*
Thing is, I don't mind people not being good and upright. What I mind is people pretending to be good and upright, and insisting that all the rest of us be good and upright, while all the time themselves being quite the opposite of good and upright. It's the extraordinary hypocrisy that gets to me.
