The thing is, in America the tit would have been removed, in the name of commerce. How nice that a sign was posted and the great tit left unmolested, instead.

There are some hawks that are nesting on the Upper East Side and the owners of the apartments would love to knock down their nests but every time they try they either get fined or thrown in court. And Mary Tyler Moore went and narked on them too.
