Not the dumbest this year, though. That was committed yesterday morning (election morning) by the youth arm of the Jamaica Labour Party, G2K (Generation 2000). It sent out a Blackberry Messenger text calling on all young people to 'Put your X beside the head'.* The head (a head with a hat on it resembling a bust of a boy scout in profile) is the electoral symbol of the JLP's rival, the People's National Party. Within an hour or so, every PNP supporter on the planet was laughing about the unexpected endorsement.


* They should have texted 'Remember: Put your X beside the bell'.
